Dr. Jose L. Garcia, M.D.
Physician – Pediatrics & General Practice
Dr. Jose L. Garcia is a board-trained physician with extensive international and U.S. experience in pediatrics, family medicine, and general practice. He earned his medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba, followed by a family practice residency and ultrasound training. He furthered his medical education with a pediatric residency at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico, gaining hands-on experience in neonatal intensive care and emergency medicine.
Over the past three decades, Dr. Garcia has held clinical roles in both hospital and outpatient settings, including emergency departments, wound care centers, and pediatric clinics. His work has taken him from refugee care in Guantanamo Bay to pediatric emergency services across Florida and, more recently, to long-standing roles in Hobbs, New Mexico, where he currently practices with American Medical Group LLC.
Dr. Garcia is recognized for his compassionate care, broad clinical knowledge, and commitment to improving health outcomes for families and children. His diverse background uniquely equips him to serve multicultural populations with both expertise and empathy.
Jerried Noseff, CFNP x252
Jerried Noseff graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2009. After working as a chiropractor for a few years he decided to go back to school in aspirations of obtaining his Family Nurse Practitioner degree. In 2013 he graduated from nursing school from Wayland Baptist University then went on to get his Masters in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015. Since 2015 Jerried has worked as a family nurse practitioner helping people of all ages.
Jerried met his wife in college at Wayland and they have been married since 2015. They have 2 children. He enjoys his family activities, golf, watching his kids’ sports, and traveling.
Jerried enjoys helping people obtain their highest quality of life through both homeopathic and allopathic interventions. With his chiropractic background he enjoys finding natural alternatives to help patients obtain functional wellness while utilizing allopathic interventions whenever needed. His work/life ambition is to help each patient reach their full health potential

I am a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of experience in diverse clinical settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Texas Tech University in 2007, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2009. I also hold an Advanced Degree Registered Nurse (ADRN) certification from South Plains College, obtained in 2006.
My clinical background includes extensive work in emergency medicine, surgery, surgical ICU, obstetrics, and medical-surgical units at Medical Arts Hospital from 2006 to 2009. Since 2009,1 have been practicing at American Medical Group in Hobbs, New Mexico, providing comprehensive family practice and urgent care services.
I am committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and have a strong focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and managing acute and chronic conditions
Rebecca Chavez PMHNP, FNP x276
Rebecca Chavez is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice and Mental Health. With over 30 years’ experience, she has worked in occupational medicine, acute/urgent care, family practice, and psychiatry. She earned a Bachelor’s degree at Morningside College in Sioux City, Ia; a Master’s in Nursing as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner at Clarkson College in Omaha, NE; and a Post master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health at Saint Louis University in St Louis, Missouri. She is board certified in Family Practice. Rebecca is a native of rural Iowa but has called New Mexico home for the last 14 years

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of clinical experience in women’s health, gynecology, labor and delivery, newborn care, cardiology, pain management, biologic infusions, and home health. My background in both hospital and community-based settings enables me to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients across all stages of life.
I began my NP career in Amarillo, Texas, and relocated to Hobbs, New Mexico, to serve a community where access to care is more limited. I believe everyone deserves high-quality, personalized healthcare, and I am committed to being a dependable, trusted provider for the people of Hobbs and surrounding areas.
My approach blends evidence-based medicine with empathy. I focus on patient education, prevention, and building lasting relationships rooted in trust and collaboration. I remain dedicated to lifelong learning to ensure the highest standard of care.
Clinical ServicesI provide comprehensive care including management of acute and chronic conditions, medication prescriptions, diagnostic test ordering and interpretation, preventive care and wellness exams, and women’s health services such as Pap smears, well-woman visits, birth control, IUD removal, and mammogram orders.
I also offer patient education, lifestyle counseling, and Pre-Participation Physicals (PPEs) for school sports.
